This paper explores the integration of traditional resources with digital media with special educational needs children.
The class chosen for the project was a Key Stage 2 group consisting of three non-verbal pupils however one boy also used single words at certain times.
An experimental approach was required in modifying the classroom space prior to the start of the project.
The pupils involved were all on the Autistic Spectrum & had complex needs. The group were occasionally disengaged, displaying challenging behaviour & were difficult to motivate. They also experienced difficulties with communication & social interaction.
